Location: Hagen im Bremischen and construction sites in the DACH region (Germany/Austria/Switzerland)
Working hours: Full-time/part-time

We are a medium-sized company in steel and mechanical engineering, specialising in solutions for rail-based passenger and freight transport. We manufacture components, develop special-purpose machines, and install our products on site at construction projects with our own staff.

Your Responsibilities

Operating VDP GmbH trucks (depending on assignment: local, regional, or long-distance transport)
Timely delivery and collection of goods
Loading and unloading the vehicle, including Load securing
Checking shipping documents and delivery notes
Compliance with statutory driving and rest periods
Responsible handling of the vehicle
Performing vehicle inspections (pre-departure checks)
Reporting damages, defects, or delays
Professional and friendly interaction with customers and local contacts

Your Profile

Valid Class CE driver's license
Valid professional driver qualification modules
Professional experience as a truck driver is an advantage, but not mandatory
Good knowledge of statutory driving and rest periods
Reliable, independent, and responsible way of working
Punctuality and a high level of safety awareness
Friendly and customer-oriented demeanor
Willingness to travel
Basic knowledge of the German language (written and spoken)
Willingness to work shifts / weekends (depending on assignment)
Technical understanding of vehicles and load securing
