VDP rail solutions is a medium-sized steel and mechanical engineering company with a clear focus: rail-bound passenger and freight transport. We develop, manufacture, and implement solutions made of steel, concrete, and technology – where things get heavy, complex, and require millimeter precision.

What sets us apart is our holistic approach. From the initial idea through design and production to on-site assembly, everything at VDP comes from a single source. One shared focus.
Hagen im Bremischen
In Hagen, between Bremen and Bremerhaven, the heart of VDP has been beating since its foundation. On what is now an area of approx. 2,500 m², craftsmanship, robust materials, and technical know-how combine to create true heavyweights of engineering. Plant 1 is home to our administration. This is also where prototypes and small series are created – individually manufactured and assembled with millimeter precision. Plant 2 is our competence center for steel construction and precast concrete parts. Here you will find our management offices and plenty of craftsmanship in the halls. Welding, casting, and grinding take place until every component is perfectly prepared for its application – precise, efficient, and reliable. Our rail processing and special machine construction are also based here.
Ludwigsburg
While sparks fly in Hagen, minds are hard at work in the baroque city of Ludwigsburg. Here, everything revolves around acquisition, calculation, development, and programming. Using state-of-the- art software, technical expertise, and an eye for detail, solutions are created that are economical, well-thought-out, and sustainable.
From the initial idea to the digital twin, thinking ahead, calculating, and tinkering take place here – so that everything runs smoothly out on the construction site.
