Metalworker

Location: Hagen im Bremischen and construction sites in the DACH region (Germany/Austria/Switzerland)
Working hours: Full-time/part-time
Start date: by arrangement

We are a medium-sized company in steel and mechanical engineering, specialising in solutions for rail-based passenger and freight transport. We manufacture components, develop special-purpose machines, and install our products on site at construction projects with our own staff.

Your Responsibilities

  • Manufacturing and assembly of steel structures according to technical drawings and parts lists
  • Cutting, marking, drilling, and tack welding of steel components
  • Assembly of steel troughs, steel frames, and special constructions
  • Operation of machines and equipment (e.g., band saw, drilling machine)
  • Quality control and dimensional inspection of manufactured components
  • Assembly assignments at construction sites domestically and abroad for installation of steel troughs and/or rails
  • Compliance with safety regulations and quality standards
  • Collaboration with work preparation, quality assurance, and management

Your Profile

  • Professional experience in assembly and as a metalworker desirable
  • Confident reading of technical drawings
  • Quality awareness and meticulous work approach
  • Technical understanding and manual dexterity
  • Willingness to travel as agreed
  • Independent, reliable, and structured work approach
  • Team capability and sense of responsibility
  • Good German language skills, both written and spoken
  • Handling of measuring and testing equipment (e.g., calipers)
